I was wondering if anybody has one in short acion. I have herd that thay shoot clover leaf groups at 100yds is this true?? I am looking at one in 243 so I just wanted to see if anybody likes them.please post Thx Lake

The model 200 is your basic savage action. They started makeing these when they put out the accu-trigger. A savage rifle is generally very accurate, gets better as it is broken in. If you buy a short action you can have it rebarreled fairly cheaply to any other short action caliber. If you decide to get one pm me and I will tell you how to stiffen your stock (or if you would prefer i will do it for you), for about $15 worth of material. This mod will help with those clover leafs!
