My bow is set up at 28" Draw length - 60lbs draw weight - and I shoot a release. Deer hunt mostly.
David,
I would go with something like my setup. Go with a .400 spine arrow and a 100 grain point with a 27.25 - 28" shaft. I like smaller diameter carbon arrows for durability, wind drift, speed, and penetration, either all carbon or carbon aluminum composites. Things to try if not satified with the groups. Paper tune for good flight. Broadhead paper tears are more important to me that field points. A little high left nock tear (stays inside the vanes) for a right handed shooter is acceptable to me as long as they group. With the biscuit, I would go for a perfect hole. Add weight to the bow and/or add point weight until you get what you want as far as tuning/grouping.
Let me know how it goes. There are lots of tuning options, but do not over think it, shoot and have fun. If you start to get frustrated, stop and get some help. I have seen a lot of shooters get really upset and it turns out to be how they grip their bow or how tired they were and not the equipment. I use a couple of fingers (pinky and next finger or two) tucked under, relaxed wrist, and my knuckles running at a 30 to 45 degree angle to the grip. This eliminates a lot of left/right torque and misses.
