Can anyone help me with what length of fletch I should go with and what brands to check out?

I just bought the BLazers and they are a 2 inch fletching and they have shrunk my groups a lil bit from when i was using 4 inch fletching. The Blazers are supposed to help you shoot better with broadheads but have not shot a broadhead with them yet. Hope this helps anymore questions just ask.

I went from 5" vanes on aluminum arrows to 4" vanes on carbons to blazer vanes on carbons. Deffinately like the blazer vanes the best. i could not shoot my 100gr 4 blade muzzy's with 4" vanes. Switched to 3 blade 100gr. muzzy's and had no problems. Started shooting the blazer vanes and i can now shoot my 100gr 4 blade muzzy's like darts!

2inch bohning blazers or 4 inch bohning killers/x-vanes

I currently shoot NAPs 4" QuickSpin vane but am debating on dropping to the 2" QuickSpin vane. I really like them and I have been told that the smaller ones are similar to the blazers just spin faster?!?!

I have heard, however, that over time the QuickSpins won't hold up. I haven't had any personal experience with this yet since I haven't been using them that long, sorry.

Maybe someone else will be able to shed a little light on that issue.

Yeah I have head of this happening! Never used them but do know people that have and they last a little bit but then the get a lil worse. I would either go with the blazers or maybe three inch duravanes. That would be your best bet. The shorter vanes also let you gain just a little more speed!! Hope this helps!

2 in blazers are for me right now...started fletching my own and boy...the blazers tighten em up pretty good...went from what I was shooting at 30 yards in the back yard to shooting it at 50 yards! Now, on a deer in the woods a different story...but they are impressive

I use blazers too and my groups are tighter as well. They work well with a WB and are very durable.

The vanes I use I get from Basspro brand Duravanes . I get my feather's in bulk from FSdiscountarchery .

I am currently shooting Blazers on my Easton Full Metal Jackets. These vanes have held up extremely well and have tightened up my groups.

I shoot Bohning Blazers on everything. 2" on hunting and indoor target arrows, 1.5" on 3D arrows and micros for outdoor target. They all are designed for their usages. They perform flawlessly in all situations. They are stiffer and hold up well through biscuits and are lighter for a little added speed. They hold their speed really well down range.
