I think im going to use my bow

My primary turkey killer is a Remington 870 supermag 3 1/2 12 gauge. Might also try a black powder combo. either a Thompson Center New Englander or the Traditions Pursuit. I've got both guns now, just need a 12 ga blackpowder barrel for them.

I am going to be using my Switchback XT!!!! Used my bow last year and shot a 23 pounder with an 11inch beard and 1&1/2inch spurs at 40 yards so I am pretty confident! In case you guys were wondering my season is May 18th through the end of May so it is some what later but I will Git-R-Done!!!!!

Well last year was my first year turkey hunting and had some jakes come in but couldnt get a shot off with my bow so the last day i used the shotgun and never got nothing within range so hopefully this year i will get my first turkey.

This is my first year to hunt turkey, but dont worry been scouting alot. Saw these Rio's.

I have been practicing with mouth caal an hour a day, and sound pretty good on the Freak with crystal, also getting B-Moblie for my B-Day on the 14 March

I saw 2 longbeards fighting a week later there. There was 2 more longbeards and 3 jakes to.

You guys are making me feel Old. My youngest son is 19, my oldest daughter is 30. I started turkey hunting the year Edgebow was born, Harvested my first bird the year Whitetail Hunter was born, Figuired I knew it all by then..........and really started learning after that Best advise I ever got was "BE PATIENT!!" That advise came from an old turkey hunter/call maker named Bill Mullen. He makes the finest slate calls you've ever used. Another good piece of advice I got from Dale Rohm. Dale was the man who started Rohm Brothers Calls. They are still being made by his son. Dale gave me a box call and put this on the back of it, " There are turkey callers, There are turkey hunters, and there are turkey killers..........which are you?" My two best birds, a 24# with a thick paintbrush 10 1/2 inch beard with 1 1/2 inch spurs. The other was a 20# 11 inch beard with 1 1/2 spurs. The second one was one that I chased or two years before I finally ambushed him.

I cant wait for turkey hunting start. remeber guys you cant leave this forum and not return. i also beleive if we win we some sort of prize for winning so lets go out and kill some big birds.

Who is the first Gobblin Ghost to take the field ? those scouting pics looked real nice, I would love to get out and find some birds here in NY, only problem is its - 20 wind chill and yesterday a lot of surrounding counties were in a state of emergence because of blowing snow
and Ice. Spring here is still a ways off ... keep the pics rolling and remember roosted doesn't always mean roasted !

Ill try to figure some stuff out later tonight and ill talk to him. I got to go shoot bow right know so ill figure it out later tonight.

The background is cool with the foggy woods but that pic stands out to much i think

Is there any way that he could take out the green color in the background of the gobbler because then it would be cool.

Don't get me wrong i thank beneliboy for making it but i have seen other teams and theres are really sharp looking and that background and pic just don't go with each other. I would also like to here what other members think.
