Hey guys im Nick im 16 from Ohio... personally as far as a team name i like Gobbler Assassins or i thought of somethin like Jelly Heads, i dont know its kinda dumb but its an idea.

Ok, we got 2 votes for Gobbler Assasins and 2 for Roosted is Roasted...these are just some things I came up with on the spot, if ya'll have any suggestions please vocalize them...I think we should get this done soon though....I haven't put in my "vote" yet, I am indifferent really, but I guess I will vote for Gobbler Assasins....that makes 3 votes for that, we still have 4 members who havent voted. Guess we should wait for them to check in and see if they have any suggestions?

I say we give them until 10 p.m either tomarow or monday and then make an executive decision on the team name. What do ya'll think?? Sun or Mon?

I say Monday, so it gives them a little more time.

Me too, I'm gonna go out on the limb and set this as their deadline for name suggestions...not trying to be mean or anything, just trying to get it done! So the dead line is monday at 10 p.m. (Keep in mind this is only for the name decision and doesn't constitute us leaving anyone out of the contest or anything...if you have a suggestion, post it and we will talk about it...right now if there is no objections, I would say the name will probably be Gobbler Assasins based on the votes of the current members).

Also, I was reading in another teams topic and they were talking about assigning a "Team Captain"...does everyone do this in the contests??? If so, should we?

I vote for Gobbler Assassins. I think we should have a team captain. But, this my first time in this contest also. Whatever we do, I hope we all have a great time, and I am looking forward to seeing our team take some big gobblers down this year!!

I talked to Randolph Cox about the team captain stuff, and he said that his teams have never had it in the past....so I guess it is not that important. It is up to ya'll, I don't really care either way, though it could be benificial to have someone that could stay on top of things and PM everyone now and then, even though I don't really know how much they would actually have to contact everyone??? I noticed that some teams are already posting their names....and I think that all of them will look good below our name, whatever that ends up being, at the end of the contest!!!!

I didnt get a tag for Jersey but I have a tag for PA when I got my PA deer license so I am goin to be hunting over there for one day this spring.

Went ahead and sent the PM to Randolph, we are OFFICIALLY the Gobbler Assasins! I'm excited about this...if we have any questions or hint or tips to give each other, we need to make sure that we communicate.

We defiantly are communicating we already got over 30 posts and the other teams have like 15 or less

Hey scott, we are not in that big of a hurry or whatever but I think we need to create one of those picture things that you have on the bottom of your page with our team name on it and stuff... the reason I'm telling you is that you are the only one with something on their profile...figure you were the only one who knew how to do it.

What kind of picture would you want to have on it?

I don't know, but I remember seeing some of the Deer Contest teams that had like a Mossy Oak background and a deer skull and all of the members names. I just thought it looked really cool cause everytime you post somewhere it shows up...it really doesnt matter though!!

Just put turkeys on it with camo?
