Right know i have a simons 3-9-50 but im looking for a long range scope. I have heard that a simons a-tec would be a good one to get but i was just wondering what you thought and what kind you think are good.

Look into a nikon. They make really nice scopes and have a good price tag as well.

There are many scopes out there you could use. It depends on your price range. Leupold makes a fine one but nikon does also for cheaper. Tasco and Barska have even cheaper yet. It all depends on your wallet size.

I have a Nikon on every gun I have, great scope; cheap, lifetime warranty, and crystal.

depends on how far you shot and what type of gun if you shoot 250 -400 yards i would use a 4-12 and anything father then that i would use big scopes 6-12 or suttin like that i would go with a leupold best of the best

All of my rifles have Leoupold scopes on them. They are a little bet more expensive, but if you think about the number of years that you will own it, it is not that bad. Nikon makes a quality scope, no doubt. But in my opinion, when it comes to optics, you get what you pay for.

The last scope I did buy, I bought of of ebay. It was new in the box and saved me about $75. So you may check there. smile.gif
