A friend sent this photo to me the other day. I don't have any information on it other than it was shot in Mexico and will supposedly challenge the current world record. Does anyone else know anything about this buck?

the deer looks pretty small compared to his rack,,, and might I say he has a nice rack!!! Must be eating a ton of sagebrush,,,, That produces nice racks and small game... Here in Idaho anyway

Actually the article you refer to states that it was killed in Mexico and that it is the new #1 SCI world record..........but is not the B&C world record. so it really depends on which scoring method you prefer as to whether it is the World record muley.

Thats right dont care who you are thats a BIG buck.

Alot of big mulies come from Sonora....but imho, SCI will not discriminate between canned and fair chase...so B&C FTW!!! Thats not to say I wouldnt go hunting in Sonora, but I'd be very careful which outfitter I went with. It's deff not the new B&C world record....but has anyone seen the pic of that deer taken in Southern Saskacthewan...supposedly the new non-typical B&C record.
