well i just picked off squerril in my back yard with my bow.. im in the process of guttin it and its very smelly. its my first time guttin something so i guess its the roughest i allreadey hurled im just wondering a good way to do this like a good way to cook it. so its not so rubbery. thanks

I personally like to shoot 2 or 3 of them and then make a stew out of them, thats usually how i cook them.

To me that smells like roses compared to when i am gutting deer.

The worst is Antelope...man they stink! I don't like the smell of rabbits either, just something about them,but Antelope just stinks.

Cut the skin on the back and rip it down to the legs. Take the legs and the back straps and throw the reast in the woods. Oh yea and dont forget to keep the tail!

ive gutted acouple of squrrals and i dont think their that bad ill post a pic of my pelt in a bit. when your cutting it just make shure you dont cut its poop line that will make it stink!

Never had a problem with the smell either, unless you cut the poop, skin him out, boil him and make squirl pup pye VERRYY GOOOOD
