hey guys..did pretty good..the group got 9 or 10..me, my bro, and my dad limited out (limit of 2 per hunter). i got a cock bird and a hen, my bro got the same, and my dad got 2 hens..my dads 2 friends got one each, my friend dom got one and a rabbit, and his dad got 1.

Good job, we can't shoot hens where I hunt!

We arent allowed to shoot native hens but these are stocked hens so we can shoot them. There are barly any native birds left in NJ.

hunthard you can shoot a pheasant of either sex whether its native or stocked...

Thats always the assumption I was under as well Mack. I was definitley pleased wiht the opener of pheasant today.
