Thanks everyone. Dang, I can't believe how things have changed since I bought my last bow.....the old Jennings Round Wheel. I found some good information on understanding today's compound bows and selecting the right bow on the Cabelas website. They didn't recommend any particular bow, of course.....just explained the technology behind todays components, advantages and disadvantages of various cams, etc. Good reading.

I really don't need a new bow, but I know that the day will come when something on my old bow will go, so it's time to relegate it to backup duties and bring my self into the 21st century..........kicking and screaming!
I'd stay with the old recurve I had, but these old shoulders just can't take shooting it for any length of time. It's hell to get old. laugh.gif

PSE Primos on ebay, PSE Mach, Mathews are nice. if your bow is so old any modern bow will just blow you away with the performance.

I just got the PSE Fire Flite from Cabelas and it is a nice bow. They will set it up for you and everything.
