Can yu lower the front sight I just had to raise my marlin front sight from .312 to .343 with the williams peep I got a marbles from midwayusa.com there are other brands just remember you need the widest ones for muzzleloaders lets say you need a or get a .260 or .290 you need the width to be .531 if you want you can also call williams and ask the tech there wats the best front sight to go with the willaims wgrs peep sight i think the cost 17 buks there you can order right from them

I called the guys at Thompson and they talked it over. Turns out the new X7 rifle has the same peep sight on it and they ended up changing the front sight to a shorter sight. The guy I talked to, sent one to me in the mail. I have not tried it yet but I think it will do the trick. What great customer service!!
