My bow season starts the 26 of Aug. but I won't do a whole lot of blacktail hunting until the late hunt at the end of November, when the bruisers come out of the high country. I'll be taking my wife in October for rifle season.

Lets make a statement!

Team punishment sounds like a good un. As far as hunting goes if its legal here in Kentucky I will use it. I like my bowhunting but it makes no difference in how I harvest my buck. Whether it be with rifle, muzzleloader or the bow.

Now that we have a team name I can not wait until September 27th rolls around for the opening of bow!!!! Goodluck everyone.

galimbhanger nah did'nt try the bow contest but i finally got my summit goliath stand i have been wntin.There were some monster bucks in perry hangin on the walls . it was my first time there i am punped about opening day.

I am have been just hanging stands and counting down the days. My season doesn't kick off until the 27th(early season) of September so there is not much for me to report yet. On the 19th of September I am hoping to get out some of my hunting bug on some black bears on Ft. Drum.

I dig the banner ya'll. I have some nice bucks on my property this year. 3 of them all 8's Lord willing they'll be there went the season starts for us here in Arkansas Oct 1st To ya's that your season is started or about to start good luck to ya's

Archery elk and deer season starts day after tomorrow. Went up this morning to check a few places out, and seen four bulls, and a bear. Probably won't get out until Wednesday. Fire restrictions are starting to tighten up, so I hope we get some weather.

Sorry i have'nt checked in for a few days i just got back sunday evenin i went to bristol tenn. to watch the busch race and cup race had a blast but ready for the season to start got 1 more weekend to wait.

Less than a month to go!!!!!!!!! God it's driving me nuts!!! I did a quick sneak and peek up by my treestands and there was a bachelor group of bucks (5 of them) feeding a scant 25 yards from my treestand!! The smallest being a six point that didn't have any brow tines so I almost mistook him for an eight until he turned his head!! I am staying well out of the area now so that I do not disturb them. Come on opening day!!!

What's going on Team.
Just thought I'd check in and see when your season's start. Went elk hunting yesterday. Spotted two 6 pts. and a spike at about 500yds. We got to within 90yds. That is seven bulls in three days, and none of them are really rutting yet. Three bulls yesterday, and they were still together. Vacation starts next weekend and I hope they start getting with it.

Thanks my brother from another mother!!It worked!! Only 19 more agonizing days to go!! To make things worse when I went out to my truck yesterday there was a seven point out of velvet with four does eating at one of my apple trees.

I went this morning but I didn't see any :cry: I think that full moon had them messed up

whats up team i went this mornin seen a hog goin in but no deer yet found something nice to hunt this afternoon. man am i glad season started i have been on edge waitin on ot well maybe i will deliver this evenin

Well guys I had a good day in the woods. I seen deer from 5 until right up to dark. I could have let the air out of a couple of does but I figured I would wait until it cooled off a little bit. I had a fawn stay around the stand chasing squirrels for 45 minutes. I think someone might have shot its mother. I have yet to see a buck.

Still early ya'll. For us here in Akansas, Oct. 1st is right around the corner

Been elk hunting for the last four days and came home to wash some laundry and see my wife and kids. We've been really close a few times, but we've had a lot of hunts spoiled by DUMB hunters, and just bad set ups. Saw three bulls today at 500 yds, so we snuck around at daylight for about a mile, and had some idiot drive down in a diesel and park right on top of the elk. We've seen eight bulls, and about fifty cows in the last three days. I'm headed out tomorrow morning, and I'll let you guys know next weekend.

I need to see where these big bucks are coming out from, and I already have one of my scent blocker suits in a scent storage bag, and my soaps, and shampoo's are waiting. I heading out tonight to see what's moving in Ohio.

I have some freinds that have a club in ludawice, I was going to try to come down there with them some time this season

we might have to try, there club butts up to griffen ridge so maybe we could meet up and go to a few of RC's hot spots

well i will have to get with rc and see if we can better hurry though cause wont be long and you cant get in griffin ridge unless your in a quota hunt . me and rc are selected for the first checkin hunt there get with us we have a bunch of management areas close to us. we are goin to big hammock this weekend for a muzzleloader hunt

I'm not sure when there going but I think there is a hunt between thanks giving and christmas, good luck this weekend

Great doe jack I will be hunting some monster Ohio bucks this saturday I can't wait guys keep your fingers crossed. Team mates hunt hard, hunt safe, and always eat what you harvest.

Thanks guys and goodluck to the rest of ya'll!! This is the early season for archery. It was set up for people that didn't fill there tag from last year :oops: Out regular archery season kicks off this Sunday so hopefully I can put somemore points on the board and some more meat in my freezer!!

Well guys I haven't had the time to go hunting lately. My mom had a stroke Tuesday night and after my dad had one 4 years ago I am taking care of them. I figure them deer will be there once she recovers. It was a light stroke thank goodness. She is improving with each passing day.

Just remember to tell the ones you love that you love them because you never know.

That's great!! I hope that things continue to get better for her. I am going to post the pic of my tag up close so that maybe they'll give me the points for the doe I shot on the 28th of September. Goodluck guys.

had a good weekend so far shot a nub buck oct 7 and a spike oct 6 they aint big but it was a checkin hunt would have like to shot something bigger but he got away friday.Well alot of season left who knows may still happen .Now i guess its back to my bow till next weekend.good luck team
