This is a first :shock: Most people I know who couldnt afford a SBE got a nova.....and cant see how they ever put up with their 870 :? I to am one of those folks....I love mine, but most of all it will sure cycle some shells. If I were you Id give it another shot :!:

my bro has one, and we both love it. he and i both used it shotgun deer hunting(rifled barrel with a red dot)and it performed awesome, and i took it on a snow goose hunt two weeks ago and it worked awesome. we haven't had any problems with his. i guess your just that lucky

As poor as your experience was, it does not seem to be the norm. I have a Nova and a SBE, and I have never had function problem one with either. My only complaint is the finish on the Nova barrel is prone to rust if neglected too long. Other than that, they are incredible firearms, in my experience.
