I only heard 3 gobbles. The day was soooo slow we left at about 10:00. It was also freaking cold, windy, and snowing. Terrible day. We decided to bag sunday because the forcast was so bad but then I woke up to the sun shinin away and I'm here at home. Man I can't believe my luck sometimes!
Well theres always next weekend.

Killed my first turkey on Thursday (first critter of any sort for that matter). Nailed him at 24 paces, it was awesome. He measured 15 pounds, no beard, and 3/8 in spurs. Not a giant for the record books but a giant to me. As soon as I get all the pictures from my buddy I will post them up and get us on the score board. If I am lucky I may go out and try to get another one before the end of the season.
