To tell you the truth im not a big fan of Cabelas seeing that i work at sportsmans warehouse. :wink: But from what ive noticed when ive gone is that they have a good selection but it is hard to get help and they are quite overpriced. :cry:

hey tbryan sig is great, took a while to get it up but well worth it, been huntin the last week gobblers everywhere opening day every time one would gobble i'd here a shot, got close to one on sun,19th but he made me, had another walk past me from behind, this pastwkend walked up on one struttin but no shot, my huntin partner got one 19# 10 beard w/1 3/4 spurs, not bad for public land, so maybe this wked will be better prospects look good, gottagetabird ,gottagetabird, gottagetabird....

I just picked up two places to hunt turkeys this season!! Cant wait to give them a shot!!

Alright It is time for us to get on the board. I am heading to Texas today for opening weekend. So, if someone doesn't score before I get back, we WILL be on the board come Wednesday. Hope I can get ol' mister long spurs. I killed one last year with 1 1/8 spurs so I will be shooting for something bigger but won't get greedy.

Season opens in Oklahoma next Thursday the 6th. I can't wait! Hopefully I'll score a good one for the LIMBHANGERS!!

Turkeyfreak324, if you have hard copies you should be able to scan them and post.

My brother has a scanner so within the next week I'll get off my lazy rear end and post the pics. I'm trying to take pics so I dont waste film. I am cheap and I only took the required six pics with the camera in Texas. I kept the beard and spurs so if they didn't come out I will take some more pics. Next time I'll be a little more prepared. I went out and bought a digital scale because the one I had was terrible IMO. I'll be hunting In Wyoming in three weeks so maybe I'll have some more pics or posts.

well guys i got one more week,been tryin to get this one tom for several weeks and he keeps changing his mind where he wants to be,i got my callin technique down great every hen in the area either talks back or threatens to fight, then mr. tom sounds off and walks the other way, i'm all beat up, but i'll give it one more shot fri & sat, then we gotta break the camp down and tote it all back home till sept when we'll drag it all back and start again, maybe i'll head up to ga. here their seasons open till the mittle of may,i hope i don't let ya'll down , well 2-frogs is one tired injun, guess i'll be eaten salad this year, o-jay-ho esta-had-kee
