anybody else worried that this early warm weather will start the breeding cycle early? One of two things will happen if it does. Either we won't hear a gobble or the hens will all be sitting and we'll wear their tales out. Just my opinion.

It will Be ok i promise....lol... It's warm down here every spring with exception of a few cool fronts.... Turkeys always gobble before the season starts and that means they breed before the spring starts.... Trust me on this one... It will be ok... They will gobble just as they have in the past....

The breeding cycle is a mixture of weather and the calendar, so I think we'll be ok.

I hope they do start gobbling early this year. last year I didn't hear a bird for the first two weeks of the season. It will help to be able to locate a few before the season starts for a change. Besides, the gobblers are easier to kill once the hens start nesting anyway
