17 hmr has better ballstics than both the 22 lr and 22mag... only draw back is lighter bullets... its up to you i dont own one but owuldnt hesitate to use one

I love my .17 HMR, Its an absolute tack driver. I took it out squirrel hunting this fall and was almost unfair. I was shooting squirrels at ridiculous distances. A literal blast to shoot and hunt lil critters with. :twisted:
