i knew what a shed was, i just was unsure what i had to do to enter one!

think how nice it would be if i would find his shed this summer when its not all chewed up and has all the tines left.

im not in the contest but i found a 6x6 bull elk shed with the skull i think it was from alst year cuz the antlers are still black but man its a nice bull

i was wondering if i get anything for the split browtine?

We were going to do that,but it was brought up that it might not be fair for it to be a bonus shed,since mulies all have splits,and there aren't any mulies in the most of the states.Therefore it might not be fair to people who don't have mulies.

So,that brought up exactly what sheds should be considered eligible,then I said we'll let's just go with whitetails only,but then forgot mossyman lives in an area where there are only blacktails,so we did a poll and decided to count them since teams had been picked and everything.Also they have antler structure like a whitetail anyways.

The omission of the spilt G2 bonus was announced in the rules thread,before any entries were made.



I'm sorry,but this is our first time doing this contest,and it's kind of touch and go,just trying to figure out how to do it.I wanted to make it real fun by doing the bonus sheds.There still is a drop tine bonus.

I think that everything from here out is going to stay like it is.Seems like we have a good scoring system going,and I guess I should have thought the whole thing through a little more when I made the rules.You'll have to forgive me since I don't have any mulies,and when I made that rule up it didn't even cross my mind.

I am sorry for the confusion,and no more rules/scoring adjustments will be made from here on out.

Well,that's the thing is that it wasn't specified in the beginning.This is the first time we have done this,and It was just put together.You still have one heck of a shed.I can definately see that there is one more I couldn't see from the other pics,but it looks short..Just put a tape next to it.

Found one! It's small but it count's. The brow tine is not quite an inch, so I guess it's a forkhorn. GO TEAM 7!!!!!!!!!

Yes you have to be the one that found them.That's the only thing about this contest.We have no way of knowing who is honest or not,but they do.We will trust that everyone is telling the truth when they enter a shed.I'd rather lose honest than win dishonestly.ANd yes that's the team I'm on that has entered 2 shed,and your are ahead of us with only 1 shed entered. :oops: Time will tell.There is a limit of 5 entries per person,unless you find a pair,then they count as one entry.Also you can replace any shed with a bigger one,once you have reached your max entries.

2: Brow tinw is 2.5 inches
