I just got the 30th anniversary Primos catalog, and I saw the new E-can. Same thing as the original can but you push a button on top of the can to make the bleat. It also comes with a lanyard strap. I says it will be available after May 1, 2006.

Electronic calls...many states forbid the use of electronic calls. I think this E-Can is going to be a joke personally even though they claim it sounds JUST LIKE the can...and it has the same volume too as the orginal can --- I just find that hard to believe. I am imagining a perfect bleat. I don't know about everyone else but I've never heard a perfect bleat and I think what makes the can so unique and work for people at times is that it's realistic....the tone of it and how the pitch changes --- sometimes you get a little skip in the can as soon as you flip it etc etc....I think that is what makes the can well, the can :arrow: Anyh0w---I've seen an electronic doe bleat before and it was a COMPLETE joke...it sounds like an echo for one --- and nothing like a deer...but hey for you guys that do buy it feel free to share with us how it sounds

Im with Stick. in Missouri we cant use electronic calls on deer so i wont get it anyway. But also im not sure how the sound quality will be.

Not to mention...just to add onto this tid bit --- why would you want an electronic version of the can? Or anyone at that ---- As if the original can isn't already notorious for being the easiest/idiot proof call out to this day LOL! You cover the hole and flip it... you cannot mess this up you know ---- E-Can = Primos trying to make money....cause everybody got the original can already. I understand what they're doing... and ya never know - maybe it will sale like the can did but I highly doubt it. :roll: I just can't fathom any other possible explanation reguarding the e-can

well we dont know what the e-can sounds like maybe it is better we wont know till may 1st of 06!
