i own a Remington SPS DM in 7mm rem ag, with better practice at the range i am shooting 3 shot groups in 2 holes sometimes at 100 yards.
i shot a weatherby vanguard, and the recoil was quite a bit more. and they are not very popular here in alberta/canada,
i also have a buddy who owns a SPS DM in .270 and he is shooting 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards
hope this helps

I would go with the Weatherby, they are hands down one of the best rifles out their. My second choice would be the Remington, I would drop the Ruger and possibly add the the Browning A-Bolt or Winchester Model 70 as my third Choice.
What CAliber are you deciding on?

I'm not sure why some would want to drop the Ruger, In my experience thats the one I'd go with, however they would all make excellent choices. If money is an issue (which it normally is for most) the Rugers come with matching scope rings. That alone would save you some $$$. Bottom line, they are all really nice! Don't drop any of them... just go take a look at all of them and see how they feel for you.

I bought a rem. 300 ultra in syn, stock stainless bar.......i had some trigger work done on it, It just didnt feel rite... it just wasnt crisp. but other than that its great. Rugers are awsome. I dont know what the fuss is about with the weatherbys. They are nothing spec. Some guys are just stuck on them
