How does a bow have a lot of torque? YOU torque the bow, the bow does not torque you.
I think you should ignore any archery advice given by oklahomahunter. Thats the best advice I could give you.

ive shot most of the 05 PSE line up. cant say i was impressed by any of them. i liked the vengence the least. lots of hand shock. they do draw smooth, ill give them that. i think the 04 Scorpion that they kept in the line up is a great bow though.
if i were you id seriously wait a little while. its almost time for them to start releasing their 06 line up. might be something in there that youd like better and would suit your personal taste.

You all can stop the PSE bashing anytime.
Tell you what, go shoot one for yourself and let the bow do the talking. I am sure you will find the PSE vengeance is a great bow. Take it from someone who has shot a PSE all his life.

I shot several PSE bows last spring. I didn't find any that seemed like they really 'fit' me the way I wanted, but I was generally happy with most of them. I liked the Triton probably the best of all - it was quiet, very little hand shock, and a really good value. I also shot a Buckmasters G2, which I liked much better than anything else I've shot. I have a G2SQ picked out at Gander Mountain, but I dunno if I'll get it this year or next. But I'm used to shooting Bear bows...they may not feel the same to you. Other bows I've shot that were nice - Bowtech Liberty and Tomkat, Mathew Outback. I've come to the opinion that pretty much any of the name-brand bows will serve you well, but if you're used to a certain brand of bows, stick with it. All the Bears (Jennings and Buckmasters included) shoot good to me, and I've been shooting the same Bear bow for about 15 years. Nothing else feels right.

If you have a Gander Mountain around you, take a look the PSE Excursion. They are the only store to carry that model because it was designed for Gander Mountain. It is a great bow.

Oklahomahunter, hey just a little 411 on the LRO, dont feed into his crude, he gets his jollies by trying to fire people up. This is the 1st time I have seen him in here since the mods got on line. Take it easy and have a good one.

I've already replied in the other posts about Pearson, so I won't beat that horse anymore. I've been a fan of PSE for over 15 years and still own and still have one in the corner. I like the AR's (made by PSE) and the Browning Illusion (also a PSE bow), but the rest of the PSE line just doesn't do much for me. I agree with that okie guy, the Vengeance isn't the sweet shooter that I expected, maybe I expected too much. Now I almost forgot about the Primos NRG hybrid, it is a nice shooter, I don't know what it has over the Vengeance, maybe its the extra couple of inches ATA, but it is a nice bow.
Unless they come out with an angled grip, better vibration dampening built into the riser, and custom pre-stretched cables and strings, I won't be switching back anytime soon
