I've been thinking of buying and using expandable broadheads. I've for years used 3-blade vented Muzzy broadheads and like them but I've thought about a change and was wondering your thoughts on which brand to buy and try out. Thanks

if you want to try i mechanical, i highly recommend the Rocket Steelhead 125 or 100 grain. i use the 125 grain, and have yet to be disapointed.
All pass throughs except one black bear cuz of the high angled shot, the arrow stuck in the ground underneath him, so the fletching didnt make it, lol
give 'em a try, i guarentee you'll love em, wicked blood trails, and fly just like a field point, just screw them in

Hi,
I've had excellent results using Rocket Miniblasters (3 blade) on deer and black bear. I've been using them now for over 6 years. Haven't had one malfunction or had one not go clean through yet. Haven't lost an animal, since switching to these broadheads, which are 75 grain and have a 1 3/4 inch cutting diameter. Arrow speed is increased due to the light weight of the broadhead and ability to use straight fletch. You'll only need to use one tip on one arrow, to sight in before hunting, as they all fly alike. It's usually just a slight pin adustment from your field tips. I wouldn't hesitate to use these broadheads on any big game animal. I've had friends kill both moose and elk with them. I have photos of exit wounds on both deer and bear. If you email me, I'll gladly send you photos. A deer hit with one, generally goes less than 30 yards and almost always dies within sight of our stands. I like them so much, that I bought enough to easily last me the rest of my life! -Jim
