I am having a hard time finding land to hunt. I live in Whitfield Co. I am originally from the sothern part of Georgia, so I don't know all that many people in the area. The management areas are pretty good to hunt, but they are only open at certain times. I have a crazy schedule, so I need to find somewhere that I can go whenever I have a few spare hours. There are a few places around that are open to the public, but they have been over-hunted and are usually crowded. I have four small children who all love to go hunting, but I don't like taking them when I don't know who will be in the woods around us. I am only looking for 50-100 acres. If anyone has any suggestions on how I could find land I would be very thankful. smile.gif

You and about 50,000 other hunters. Get with your local DNR, Game, fish and parks...GameWarden...whatever you call them where you are at. You'd be surprised at what info they will give you. These guys are constantly scouting land 24/7.
