I perfer to save the use of calling until I see them critters if they don't stop and look at you then get their attention with your mouth a simple baaant will do when they look in your direction the hit them with the call they turn on a dime

Right now it is only taking, turning the can over twice.
How you use the can really has no set rules. Whatever you think or whatever scenerios you come up with could turn out to be awesome.
I generallly get in the woods and set for awhile letting everything quiet down then I'll turn the can over twice and get ready for whatever might come because sometimes they come quick. If after say 15 minutes nothing has happened I'll do it again etc.......... You could also add some grunt calls in also. Just remember when you SPEAK THE LANGUAGE
get ready because it could happen and happen quick.

I have to agree with dead eye, sometimes when they come it is at the least expected time. For example during our early bow season(sept) I climbed late at 6:30, never even sat down, called with the can two series right after hanging my bow. Looked around and an eight was coming hard, grunted all the way to the base of my tree.
