I purchased a couple in the last few weeks. One to water trees exclusively, and one for herbicide. One is a 6 gallon and one is 15 gal with a boom. Im killin edges and points the "big sprayer" from fs couldnt get into as well as a smaller fields and food plots.
Anybody ever use dawn as a surfacant in them? I've thought of buying one but I currently don't have a place to store one. They would certainly come in handy!

We have one with a boom, but we have never run dawn through it.

Did some spraying today. Looks like round-up has some surfacant in it, as it suds up pretty good when I stirred it in the tank. Ive heard guys say that the herbicide will adhere longer to the surface of the plant with a little dawn though.
Very handy little unit sprayed an acre in no time flat. Had to put some rv antifreeze in it for tonights temps though. -------------------- ![]() 2010-11 Deer Contest Champions Team 10 Full Draw 2008-09 Deer Contest Champions Team 9 The Dream Team “We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. I have a John Deere 25 gallon tow-behind sprayer for an ATV for herbicide on food plots, I've never had any of the tips clog along the booms or anywhere else while using concentrated Round-Up. Works great and its super easy to use.

I've never had any problem with my sprayer and round-up, it always works great, time and time again.
