I was on my way to my first job this morning, and was passing a marshy area, and i looked over, and there stood a little basket 8 point, just as pretty as can be.

It happened so fast i think he was a 4 point but maybe a 6. As i drove by, i told my father in law i should have yelled and told him there was plenty of corn behind my house. My buddy in NW Missouri seen a 150" 10 pt with both side about a week and half ago. No wonder I didn't find very many sheds this year.

Yep That is the second one that i have seen in about the last 3 weeks, the other one was a 8 point too, that one was close to 120". Usually come turkey season I will see some bucks with nubs growing. Maybe come next fall I will get a chance to shoot a velet buck.

I have never seen a buck still in velvet during hunting season here in MI, but i have seen it on some muleys out west while hunting.
