Treyvon Martin, What do you think? Options

I think I am sick of hearing about it. Im not trying to be mean, but theres alot of people who die every day under tragic circumstances and most all are covered very little by the media or never covered at all. Its a sad story what happened to Treyvon Martin, but so was the story of many other people who died the same exact day.

I agree, how about the men and women fighting for our country overseas? They deserve more recognition than this incident.

Kevin - in my humble opinion, I think that is exactly what "they" are looking for. When I say "they", I mean the people who make a living by keeping racism alive. Also, what better way to get the black vote energized for November than to politicize this young man's death?

Its sad to say both sides (not just the 2 directly involved) are affected for life over this tragic event.

I'll trust the authorities to root out the facts in this case and let them decide what should be done. I just truly hope that they don't let the politicians decide for them.

So now spike lee tweeted the supposed address of Zimmerman to his lynch mob followers. Except it was the wrong address so now some innocent family had to run for their lives from their own home. I agree with Kevin, somebody do something. How did this turn black/white anyway, isnt this zimmerman guy mexican?

I am in agreement, let the proper authorities sort it out. The ONLY thing I know for sure is I wasn't there so everything I know about it I received from the media and I don't trust the biased, manipulative media.

That brings up a good point. How do they expect to get an unbiased jury now? Search for hobos under bridges?

If I am the family of the wrong address I am ruining Spike Lee and sending him back to where he came from. Can you say law suit Nice one Spike

I work in a trade school of approximately 1,000 students. We have a dress code in our school, no tennis shoes, no hats or hoodies, must be in their school uniform.
Since all of this has happened we've had to police our students because they want to wear their hoodies. It's been a real disruption. Things are under control for now.
85% of our students are black.

But i will stick with my original statement.
I am not sure how much you can believe from the media either, But, i have heard that 911 call on CBS, NBC and ABC, and listen to it on the Internet. i didn't record it, so i can't say that they were all identical, but they all told Zimmerman to back off, the Police were on the way.
and he didn't, he was the aggressor, Period. and should have been arrested.

and it really doesn't matter if Martin smoked Pot, that has nothing to do with it.

if, some neighborhood watch dude came up to me waving a gun in my face, and i had the opportunity to take it from him, i sure would have. and i would have kicked his butt, it is called defending yourself.

This whole thing should have never gone this far.

From what I understand, the dispatcher told him that he does not need to follow martin, he did not order him to back off. And zimmerman did not come up waving a gun, from what i understan he asked martin some questions and was walking back to his car when martin attacked him (he has the cuts on the back of his head and face to prove it, eye witness says he saw martin on top of zimmerman) and during the struggle martin saw zimmerman;s gun and went for it which is when zimmerman shot him. I don't no all the facts or what truly are the facts, but from what I have read zimmerman was acting in self defense.
