about one more week, i will start working on getting the Garden ready, i need to go back and cut a row of corn stalks out, the Rototiller doesn't like them.
Then get it rototilled for the first time, i like to till it 3 times before i start planting.
Then sometime during the second week of April, i will plant my early potatoes.

This past weekend I planted yukon gold and red potatoes, yellow onions, romaine lettuce, broccoli, spinach, and cabbage.
I planted garlic this past December, it's already 5" out of the ground.

Kevin, it has been so wet here in East Tennessee we might not get anything out except some onions and cabbage and they are not looking so great.

I all ready have seeds bought and seedlings growing in basement that will be ready to transplant in a couple weeks. We just got some much needed rain.

I also have some root/stalks from some Hybrid corn that i grew last year that i need to cut aswell. It only hit 13.5 feet tall. Hopefully hit 15 or higher this year. A guy here in Iowa had a stalk that was almost 23 feet. But he went to extreme conditions to get it that high.

Daddy planted some turnip greens and they are up. Peas, tomatoes, peppers, squash, watermelon, okra, and watermelons will go in the ground shortly after Easter.

I got my garden opened up yesterday, corn stalks cut down, and tomato cages out. i was going to rototill it, but the yard needed mowing again, so that had priority, i am going back to rototill as soon as it warms up a little more and dries off a little.

So much for rototilling today, i went back and made about 4 rounds in my garden, and the rototiller just stopped, motor still runs tines go around, but something locked up in the transmission ?, the tires wont move at all.
i had my Wife help me get it in the trailer so i could get it back to the barn, i pulled a cover to see if it would be a easy fix, no such luck, it will take a major tare down to get to the gear box, so it is going to the shop to get fixed.
