For the money, it's hard to beat a Primos Wench regardless if you're a beginner or expert. The Phat lady and Yo Sista are also fine calls!

Great call kinda spendy at around $130 tho Looks at the Faulks they are pretty good also the Buck Gardner Firecracker II is a great call for the money (around $20) very responsive and pretty good sounding. Take a look around they're are lots out there I have used quite a bit. -------------------- Jared

I love the Zink Power Hen 2 Great call kinda spendy at around $130 tho That must be the acrylic version, because the poly-carbonate version runs about $30 and is a fine sounding call. -------------------- |

I like Primos turkey calls, there deer calls changed the game of deer hunting for the better, but there are better duck calls on the market IMHO. I like RNT's, Echo makes some great calls. I like Zink's PH-1, and Echo's poly carb coca bola timber call, those 2 have talked more than few into given up. But the real deal in the duck call world is in the Cut-Down world, those things are bad if you can ever learn how to blow them.

That is the truth for sure man, best thing to do is try a few and see what you like the best.

Calls are a very personal item, sort of like a girlfriend/wife,you keep trying different ones until you find the one that suits you! Best advice is to get out some money and start buyng different calls from different makers, until you find a call that woks for you ,sounds good to your style of calling, everyone blows a call differently, and and it is just that frustrating! We can all come on here and tell you our favorites but it does not mean a thing because a call I can blow to sound good you may not be able to make sound good! Basically we all blow a call with different amounts of air,at different speeds, and with different results! Get out and try as many as you can!
