So we hunted NE for a 3 day weekend, and got a few shots but just could not connect. I could have stuck(or at least tried) to get a jake but I didnt want to use my tag on a little guy. these guys came into my decoys, but i just couldnt draw back on them. Well, at least you had birds and opportunities! I go years without seeing 3 toms like that! I usually get a IN bird but they are mainly solo. Not too many in the areas I hunt. Keep after em

Sorry for the long absence and congrats on he kills...been trying to put a paralyzed friend of mine on a bird..I vowed with my wife He kills before I do...it's been reaaaaallll tuff got a 4 day weeken coming up so we shall try again.

Good for you! I have 2 guys I'm trying to call for before my guns a blazing. Last year same two had a miss and a miscommunication error! Hope not the same this year!
