Got a slight upgrade today. Still had a 9" beard but spurs were 1" 3/16. These birds been struttin since January, I think they been draggin there beards off. Will post pics soon.

Sweet!!! I owe you Quinn!! I'll be trying to get it done this week and next for sure, have yet to get in woods, maybe this afternoon for a while, but for sure Thursday morning I'll be out!
I'm going to Western Oklahoma next week on a paid hunt, should be a slam dunk, but I have a couple local places I'm gonna hit before then. --------------------  Member of '07-'08 Deer Contest Championship Team Member of '12 Turkey Contest Championship Team Thank God He made all those critters. Good luck Doc! The place we are supposed to go in Western Oklahoma had a tornado and hailstorm yesterday.......hailstones the size of grapefruits, I saw pics, I hope the birds are good at dodging hailstones.....

OK- That sounds like some of my luck! A week before the hunt, they all get killed by haillstones the size of bowling balls! LOL. I bet they are fine. They may just be knocked a little silly, which may be a good thing! lol. I leave for Missouri next Friday.
