Good luck on those birds! Hope they hang around!
Season open down here but dealing with work and hunting hogs. Texas is going to be all my turkey hunting this year, but odds are great as there are always lots of birds out there 7 days and counting -------------------- No plants, trees, or animals were harmed in the transmission of this electronic file. Well guys it's been a tough year so far. It is waaaay too hot for turkey hunting.
I managed to get an Osceola in Anthony, Florida last Monday. He was 4 years old & had a 9 inch beard & 1 inch spurs. I then came back & got one on Friday. He is the one I entered in the contest. He was a 4 year old with an 11 inch beard & 1-1/8 inch spurs. I also got one this morning. He was a two year old, with a 9-1/2 inch beard & 3/4 inch spurs. See attached photos. http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/2012Osceola_005.jpg http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/2012Turkey1_004.jpg http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/2012Turkey2_001.jpg -------------------- |
