Anyone know of good public land or places that would be easy to get on for some of the extended feb-march snow goose season? I live in ohio right on the border of souther indiana

Head for Missouri. Its loaded right now. Dad just came back, 160+ in three days of hunting. Birds just kept pouring in over there. Hunted in NE Missouri by Squaw Creek NWR. Mixed them with pork and ended up with 52 hickery sticks and 60# of breakfast sausage. Dad even managed to get a banded blue that was banded up in Nunavut, Canada last August. Pretty cool bonus for him as that is his first goose band in 40 yrs of goose hunting. Really happy for him. Hard to believe he doesnt have more.

Now that's how you do up a big kill. Yummy!

1 goose band in 40 years of waterfowling, I'd say he was LONG overdue! Congrats to him!

wow if i had the time to travel that far i would be out the door to missouri!! thats some action right there!!! tell your dad congrats on a lifetime hunt!
