Well I called in 3 yotes this mornin. The first setup I sat down and let out a long howl with my Tony Tebbe LSB and waited a minute or two the let out a couple barks followed by another long howl. I waited a couple minutes then threw out a couple Ki-yis. I waited a couple more minutes then opened up with my Burnham Bros. Mini-Blaster. After about 20-30 seconds a the big female in the pics busted out of the wood line about 600 yards away and started across a cut corn feild below the bean feild I was sittin in. I never called from the time she started out of the woods until she disappeared under the little rise to the feild I was in. I shifted my rifle around and called pretty aggressive for a few seconds then got ready to shoot as soon as she popped over the hill. She ran up the bank and checked up at about 230 yards then WOP!!!!! Another one bites the dust baby!!!!

The second one I shot was on my next setup. I walked along the edge of a cut bean feild and crossed a slew to call a grown up CRP feild. Nothing came in so I headed back to the truck. I crossed the slew and eased up to the edge of the feild to check it before I started into it. There were two yotes that were comin to the call and headed my way at about 325 yards straight to the east of me. The sun was shining right in my face. They turned and took off. I grabbed my howler and let out a Ki-Yi. They stopped a little over 400 yards away. I put the bottom of the 400 yard circle on one of them and let my 22-250 bark. It went down and rolled then jumped up and flopped a couple flips then spun around to wind itself up then ZOOM away it went floppin and rollin all the way to the drainage ditch. I started my long walk over to where I shot it. I found pretty good blood and tracked it to where it went over the bank. There it was about 6 foot from the bank floating in about 3 foot of water. I tried to fish it out but couldn't get it so I couldn't post any pics of that one. Sorry. All in all it was a fun morning!!! We have some nasty weather movin in tonight so I figure this evenin ought to be pretty good. I can't wait to find out. Hopefully I'll have more pics!!!

Congrats! Nice shooting, you should be able to get that coyote soon, it should wash up closer to shore before the day is out.
