OK so I made a few sets this mourning. The first one had a dog come into around 500yds to inspect but couldn't close it. I was using female yodels and whimpers. Second set female howls and whipers with group yips at the end..... nothing but distant howls. Final set used a female howl n bark, whimpers, then an agressive male followed by coyote fighting. Two dogs came running in. They ran right past my call and as I put the lead dog in my cross hairs and pull the trigger, CLICK! Forgot to chamber a round walking to my set. By the time I chambered and re-sighted they were at a full sprint around 150yds. @#$% should have been two dead dogs. Atleast I know what sounds are starting to work. First two dogs I've seen in two weeks!
