I'm betting that the various states will be successful in the courts on the issue of managing wolf populations. Does anyone know an outfitter that conducts wolf hunts? Which states would be best?
Would that entail long range shooting, like coyotes? Or baiting, like leopards? -------------------- "A strong body makes the mind strong. I am not sure yet that all the laws have been passed and the Ban on Wolves have been lifted for any States yet. I do not think any outfitters have started listing wolf hunts. I may be wrong and will do a search and see!! I would hunt them like the old indians use to! Run them down and knife them to death!!  I would say you better wait until they open up the hunting for them and then it will be probably a drawing to see who gets to hunt them. This is justs in the first stages of allowing them to be hunted. May take a year or two before that comes!-------------------- Life is to short, without time in the woods!

You will have to look at ID or MT in the lower 48. Otherwise try Alaska or Canada. I know it wouldn't be hard to find an outfitter to take you. Good Luck and Good Hunting, hope you bag a bunch.

If you go to bowsite.com forum, there is a outfitter there that is doing Wolf hunts, he is baiting, But he is i BC, and it is pricey, around $5,700 ?.

Book and elk hunt in MT or ID and buy your wolf tag..if there are elk...you will hear or find wolves in most areas...western MT..Northern ID
