Well today was the last day and it went far from how I wanted it to. The geese were wearing body armor ( I should of had a limit on the ground but they were just soaking up the shots!!! All under 35 yards too! )
They ducks did not want to cooperate they are very edgy and did not want to work. I had only had one flock of four work and it was text book perfect. They were out ahead a few hundred yards and I threw them a a hail call and saw them bank and come my way the got closer and soon circled once then swing wide and I gave them a come back call followed by some feed chatter and they were coming straight in and at 30 yards feet were down and they were back peddling to land and I jumped up and got the front two at 25 yards in two shots and the others took the first flight out of dodge.
Been a tough year. But we got some!
