Got to within 40 yards of these two, which we have named Brown and Grey since they have always been seen together since the begining of August, and the wind shifted. Some short videos of a 5 hour stalk. Some of the video is a little shakey but it is through a spotter form over a mile and pretty windy, not to bad tho.
This is just before they bed, and we decide to make our move, side note those are high voltage powerlines in the forgound and about 3/4 of the way to them, and they are over a mile away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pibjeeJdocU My hunter and me coming down the mountain slowly but surely http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwiTcKfI3pg This one is commentated a little by the other guy in our group who is watching from the original point from the first video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbXt_95dBEg And this is the quick one at the end right after the wind shifts and we are ready at 40 yards!! in the words of Will Primos..."Dangit Man!!!!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3HBC61dlxA Hoping to go back and finish it off in a week or two, have to go kill my elk first!!
