Guys, been busy with our new baby so haven't had a lot of time to hunt. She's healthy and 7 weeks old. I have been checking trail cams and I'm after a big 8 that will score 130. I'm strictly bow hunting this deer, so we'll see how it goes. I hunted last Friday and only saw does. He was 30 yards from my tree the day before at 4:45(via camera). Bad timing. Anyway, good luck to everyone and hope ya'll had a great Christmas. Is it too early to start thinking about turkeys? Oh yea, the rut doesn't start here until mid January.

Man, finally connected. I haven't been hunting that much this year, but I shot a P an Y buck Saturday morning at 11:00 am. Well, he would have been a P and Y, but his right main beam was broken, so I guess he'll score as a 9. I'm after a big8 in the area, didn't know this buck was around.
