My favorite fields have been watermelon,sunflower or corn fields. Once I saw
some fellows having a good shoot in a cotton field where the doves had found a weed that had seeded out which was good also. Here in VA we can kill 12. Have you guys tried Mojo Dove ? Last fall on the first day of our bow season Oct 1 , two guys set up on the edge of a corn field with the Mojo Dove and wore them out. They shot so much , you would've thought a small war had broke out. Especially when you're trying to bow hunt and the shooting is so loud you can't even hear yourself think. HAHA in HIM, Deadeye that is the best decoy invention ever. had two out when we were hunting and that was where they always came to. when we got there they were flying over one of my buddies that got out there earlier but once the mojo was on the other side of the field they come directly to me and my best friend. -------------------- this guy, the hi-tech redneck

I used one for the 1st time this year and Its hard to say deff if it worked or not, we had 2 or 3 really key on it, but thats it out of the 30 me and my brother killed on opening day.

I went for the very first time this year, and I have to say I am hooked!!
Found a field full of CRP with trees and powerlines running down it. Only shot 7 but I could have easily have limited out had I been a better shot. I will definitely buy some decoys for next season! --------------------  |

I dont have a field to hunt in the dove just go after the dove weed and other plants in the pasture. So not having a field I hunt between two water sources and this year the hunting has been at its best during the drought because they have the need to go to the water sources.
