One month from today Ill be sitting in a chopping in northern Maine, blasting a bull call, waiting on my moose! The countdown has begun! I cant tell you guys how excited I am!

I know how you feel, it is 17 days before i leave for my elk hunt, can't wait.
Good luck on your Moose hunt, that is on my hunt list too. i would love to do a moose hunt some day before i get to old.

It is just about impossible to get really. Its considered a "once in a lifetime" tag. My father has been putting in for a permit for 40 years, and never been drawn. I doubt Ill ever get drawn again to do it, so that makes it even more special to me. Ill be sure and take some pictures and post.
