Read Carefully
This thread will be locked until the opening of the contest. Please post any question in the 2010- 2011 Rules thread. This thread is for contest entries ONLY. Please no discussions or anything unrelated to an entry... INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTERING A DEER To submit an entry a participant must include in THIS THREAD !. Your screen name 2. If applicable, the number of tines that are longer than 1 inch (main beam counts). 3. All required pictures (see below) CAPES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED REQUIRED PHOTOS #1- PHOTO OF YOU AND THE DEER WITH A PIECE OF PAPER WITH THE DATE The photo must show at least the entire front half of the deer or more showing the head attached to the body. Skull plates, mounts, or caped out deer will not be accepted! #2- A PHOTO OF THE LEGAL TAG No deer will be entered without a pic of the tag. Take a close up showing that it is your tag! NOTE: FOR PARTICIPANTS IN STATES THAT DO NOT HAVE A TAGGING SYESTEM write the following information down on a piece of paper: 1. Your forum name 2. The date the deer was taken 3. The State the deer was taken in 4. Then print and sign your name 5. Scan or take a pic of that info and supply it instead of the tag pic #3- ADDITIONAL PHOTOS ARE REQUIRED. If the first photo does not show all scoreable points, additional photos showing those points are required. If 1 inch tine length is questionable please supply a photo with a measurement against the tine for verification. NOTES: The number one item people miss is the paper with the date. Keep a pen or marker in your pack with paper. I use a zip lock bag to keep the paper dry. Take plenty of pictures. Sp3Ak-Th3-LaNgUaG3 3x4 mulie with brow tines longer then an inch...which makes him a 4x5 (I know that will confuse you eastern boys)...so let's just say he's got 9 points...which i believe would be 14 points for the team Here are the pics and be prepared for carnage. The coyotes got to him before i did and had him picked clean!!! I couldn't believe it...it did take me about 36 hours from the time of the shot but that's still rediculous if you ask me.
