I have the longer mono-pod one and i love it, mine was 59.00.

I got the short monopod last year and really like it.

Rob- is the end of your short one threaded? I pulled off the end cap to add a little gorilla glue and discovered mine was threaded...a section of dowel and a little engineering gave me a "convertable" trigger stick. Very handy.

I don't have one, but my problem with any quick adjust like that is sooner or later it is going to fail. i want a shooting stick that locks in solid, like a stoney point. JMO
