Yeah Slider, you may have been at 7600' last week, but do you have pics of a spike bull elk? Until then, stick with the Wal-mart boots (and double socks). i have some brahma boots that i bought at wally world a couple years ago i dont know how well they will do for elk hunting but they keep my feet toasty in the deer stand at 10 degrees i double my socks they are waterproof and have 200 grains of insulation
