hey guys not to brag but i was shooting at 80 yards with my .22 LR savage mark II and was hitting groups the size of a dime from a prone position i just thought i would tell how good i was shooting

that's pretty decent shooting. my 10/22 use to do that sometimes. now it shoots squirrel head size groups at that range. i think my last batch of cci stingers was off or something, my 22 usually groups them pretty good, but real inconsistent right now. anybody know how many rnds it takes to wear out a .22 barrel. i'd say mine has probably 15,000 thru it. never been worked on except for "occasional cleaning" and the trigger was lightened about 17 or 18 yrs ago.

15k you should be fine. but if your your not shootin the same as before its prob goin down hill. I've heard of 50k+ and not accuracy lost. metal bore brushes will prob ruin it faster then just shootin. the 10/22 is such an awesom gun though prob one of my all time favorites fun to shoot and cheap to shoot.

and CCI ctingers are prob my favorite rd to put through mine. just dont buy em too much cuz i got so many cheaper rds sittin around.
