i've never hunted whitetails in September or for the biggest part of October, i've always waited until November. this year i'm going on small 4 day trips every month of deer season. my question is, what part of season should you use Doe Estrus, Doe Pee and Dominate Buck urine? obviously during the rut, november time frame but is there anything you guys out there use in September and October? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I rarely use scents anymore. I've found more mature deer to avoid them then to bother w/ them. When i do use them though, I always wait until the third week of october, for northern rut, to start spreading them around.

myself i think the best time to use scent is in the prerut, when the bucks are running hard to find the first does that come into heat. same time frame for rattling to.

For Nebraska, IMO, you can the buck lure and doe urine anytime. The estrus urine and maybe the dominant buck needs to wait until a month before the peak of the rut or when you start see bucks chasing does. I normally start a mock scrape near my stand and use the doe in one and the buck in another. About mid October I start using the doe in estrus.
