Looks like a 200 lb. bear, I could be wrong but he looks to have a good rear and his belly has a little sag. Take him if you have the chance.

Not really, we've had bears as big as 600 lbs killed in NY since now much of the state is open for bear. This pic is almost 2 years old now guys, just like the thread. laugh.gif

This thread just has a way of staying at the top of this forum lol. I get a chuckle at it when I see it still going strong.

its amazing to see this thread staying alive but to answer the original question it looks like a smaller bear of about like everyone has said in the past two years. also here in NC we hold the world record at 880lbs smile.gif

some call it an obsession, others a tradition, and even a fun sport. to me it is all of those but also the battle between man and animal, and an eye opener to that we aint as smart as we think.

sow 250-300 3-4 years old. Long legs don't mean a thing. I have seen a 640# bear with super long legs. He passed that gene on to many in the area. now it is super tough to judge size there.

Never hunted bear. But why is the gall bladder worth so much? Once again it is back on top. laugh.gif

Give a man a deer, he’ll eat for a day. Teach him to be a bowhunter, will feed his family for ever!!!!

I spent most of my life hunting, the rest I have wasted.

From what I've read, the Chinese believe they have super healing powers. rolleyes.gif

You would never catch me selling ANYTHING from anything I've killed.
