You need $6,000 and talk to Bobby Hill. The number is under outfitters in the resource section here.....I hunt a ranch that boarders the Cielo Vista or what use to be the Taylor Ranch smile.gif Ever since it changed hands things have been a little different there. Native people that live around that area have keys access any gate on the property and they are also letting mountian climbers up Culebra Peak. It's a beautiful place and there is a great elk population. I was told that the Primos team won't be out here this year..... that I don't know the reason for.

And private land can be hunted if persued enough...smile.gif You live in Crested Butte....what do you have to complain about????! Do you know where the second largest typical bull in the world came from...use to be the world record?????

The southern part of the state seems to have bigger bulls in general and more of them. The north west corner is ok and there area BIG bulls there as well I just think they are few and far between... There are some cool public areas south though, you just have to do your homework..

yeah the Plute Bull.....I saw it when I was real young and I think my girlfriend and I are going to take a trip this summer to Durango and probably up towards Crested Butte. I wanted to show her the bull if it's still there. I don't know why I never went to see it when I lived in Durango and went to Fort Lewis.....
