Congrats on the grouse...I remember my first. My first woodcock too. My first deer......BTW did you just say that you gave up deer hunting??? What gives there?

Well I didn't really give up...we were packin up the truck at the cabin and decided to take a walk around the land with the shotgun instead. I had enough sitting fpr the day when I decided to go and pack up.

Nice bird...grouse are one of my fav. birds neat coloration and love to see them drum! Some day I'm gonna have a full mount done,next to turkeys their just so cool!WTG Bdhunter! smile.gif
