German Shorthair, best all around dog I've ever seen. And he's good with kids/people in general. biggrin.gif

Disclaimer: Some animals WERE harmed in the making of this Hunter. They were also dragged through the dirt, butchered and tasted delicious fried with butter.

Most people worry most about what they can do so little to change...I prefer to look at life in a World painted by God's hand, A world best viewed from twenty feet up. A life with no worries, no pressure and no rules but the ones you set for yourself...A Life best lead at Full Draw.

Chesepeake Bay Retreiver This is my fifth one. I know they are duck dogs but I have always used them on upland birds to. They do a good job. THey retrieve anything in any weather and they seem to be darn tough. They have a bad rep as being mean. I haven't had any that were mean but I had a male that was very protective. He once head butted a girl I was dating and almost knocked her out. She bent over to tie a shoe and he plowed into her head first. It was kind of funny. I just got back from the local bird hunting preserve today and got up all four birds. I missed a rooster that flew straight at the truck. But it was still a great day and Maggie hunted great. Here is a picture from this fall on some wild birds. She's just over a year old and 75 lbs.
